Possible & Suggested Itineraries:

Maddeningly large, there is just no use in trying to see everything that India has to offer in one trip (unless you have years!). It tends to make more sense to focus on one or two areas that you are particularly interested in and develop an itinerary around your available dates.
Please
contact us for some suggested itineraries that we can arrange for you.
We have given a couple of initial ideas below:
|
The Golden Triangle |
|
|
The 'Golden Triangle' combines the sites of Delhi and the Taj Mahal in Agra with Rajasthan, the Land of the Maharajas, full of majestic palaces and hill-top forts, dusty deserts, wildlife-rich forests and jungles and culturally diverse peoples.
|
|
Kerala |
|
|
A huge contrast to the hustle, bustle and dust of Northern India, Kerala's scenic beauty, calmer atmosphere and famous houseboats on the tranquil backwater canals make for a completely different but equally enjoyable holiday.

Ladakh |

Suggested Itinerary: Golden Triangle with Ranthambore National Park

The Golden Triangle route (encompassing Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan) is by far the most popular area for first time visitors. A trip to these places takes in the enigmatic city of Delhi – the capital city - which is divided into two main areas. Old Delhi, with its medieval streets, important mosques and Moghul influence acts as an invigorating mix of history and cultural influences. New Delhi, inspired by the British architect Lutyens, is full of wide avenues, stately monuments and large, green open parks. Agra, home to the world renowned and beautiful Taj Mahal, is only a short drive from the capital. To complete the triangle, a visit to the Rajasthan town of Jaipur can take in the Amber Fort, numerous Palaces and the fascinating Observatory.
We have a standard itinerary for this tour shown below but it can be amended in numerous ways to better fit your own personal requirements. There are many ways to adjust and extend the tour to include extra towns in Rajasthan such as Jodhpur and Udaipur, and stay in some truly breathtaking heritage palace hotels.
Day One
Meet & Greet and private transfer from Delhi airport t the hotel/guesthouse of your choice. Depending on what time you arrive, we can arrange a short introductory tour.
Day Two
After breakfast your tour of the Indian capital begins with a visit through the mediaeval streets around Old Delhi, taking in the world’s second largest mosque, Jama Masjid, the Red Fort and the burial ghat of Mohatma Ghandi. We then head to the wide leafy avenues of New Delhi, making visits to Qutb Minar, India Gate and if time allows the Lotus Temple.
Day Three
This morning you travel in a well-stocked modern A/C TATA Innova to Jaipur (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival you check into your Havelli or hotel before an afternoon visit to the beautiful Amber Palace. Elephant rides up to the palace are possible here. The evening is free to explore the town.
Day Four
On your second day in the Pink city, we visit the City Palace, Wind Palace and world famous Jantar Mantar Observatory. The rest of the day is free to explore the city at leisure. We recommend a visit to the well known lassi-wallah!

A trip to Kerala can include a visit to the UNESCO world heritage site of Cochin, before spending a few days winding through the backwaters in a houseboat or converted rice barge before heading out to look for wildlife in Periyar National Park. Ladakh during the summer months
During the summer months, the monsoon gets underway in India and the majority of the country is hit with rising temperatures, briefly cooled by the daily rainstorms. Visiting the country during this time can itself be a richly rewarding experience - all the sites are quiet and there is a more intimate feel to the country. However, in the far north of the country, the Himalayan state of Ladakh does not suffer from the monsoon due to its geographical location in the Himlayas, while also being sheltered by the Hindu Kush.
Ladakh's main city, Leh stands at 3500m so even in the height of summer, remains cool and temperate. The region is predominantly Buddhist and there are some excellent monasteries and gompa's that can be visited. There are also good trekking and rafting options which we can use to create interesting and unique itineraries for our travellers. The summer in Ladakh is also reknown for its Buddhist festivals and perhaps the most popular time to visit this tranquil region is during the Hemis festival (July 12th - 13th 2009) where traditional dances are performed by the locals.
